Woolley (2009) undertook a complex study of young people’s perspectives on their lives with multiple data sources. She compared their responses regarding perceptions of opportunity and constraint, indicators of individual and of collective agency, and perspectives on the future across different genders and settings. Analysis and writing were conducted in tandem to ensure integration of results. The study also provides a detailed design map and table showing how the study was planned and conducted.
