Regression analysis is the primary technique that researchers in the social sciences use to analyze quantitative data. This statistical method is the subject of the second semester statistics course in many graduate programs in the social sciences. Regression analysis is the subject of a wide variety of textbooks.  However, there is a gap in the materials available for students of regression analysis, it is that gap that Elementary Regression Modeling: A Discrete Approach First Edition by Roger A. Wojtkiewicz intends to address. This user-friendly book gives the reader a thorough understanding of concepts like nestedness, higher-order differences, and constraints by providing a conceptual basis for some of the things quantitative researchers ordinarily do when conducting regression analyses.
