This is the first episode of a five-part series on moral reasoning, focusing on the results of studies conducted by Lawrence Kohlberg

The first of a series of documentary films directed by Michael Apsted that followed the lives of fourteen British children. “7-Up” was made in 1964, when they were seven years old. The documentaries continued, with one episode every seven years—for a total of 56 years.

Influenced by the British series, similar documentaries were made in other countries. Here is ‘7Up South Africa,’ made in 1992

And here is ‘7up in America’

A team of UCLA anthropologists studied middle-class American families and the clutter they live with
