Video 4.2 Assessment differences on dark skin

There is a scarcity of education materials on the assessment of patients with darker skin tones, exacerbating inequalities and potentially leading to inaccurate clinical assessment. It is important that students are aware of clinical signs which present in individuals with darker skin tones, allowing a safe and effective assessment in all our patients.
