  1. Is there a role for Rawls’ veil of ignorance in utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics, hedonism, egoism, or stoicism? If so, what would it look like?
  2. Revisit Case Study 3.1 (page 72). How might you apply Rawls’ theory to this scenario? How might it change the outcome?
  3. Identify one part of the criminal justice system with which you are familiar. Using the examples in A Closer Look on page 317, consider whether that part of the system is socially just. Describe your examples.
