- Develop a ‘thick description’ of an issue in your data. Identify the depth, breadth, context and nuance of the issue. Use examples from your data add detail to the description.
- Identify whether some codes have similar attributes, group these into categories and label each category.
- Try to conceptualize your data as a whole using techniques described in this chapter.
- Validate your theory using some of the strategies described. Is the theory well grounded? Does it offer a more than description, to explain and account for your data?
