Social Science Data Agencies
The UK Data Service is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to meet the data needs of researchers, students, and teachers from all sectors, including academia, central and local government, charities and foundations, independent research centres, think tanks, and business consultants, and the commercial sector. The UK Data Service collection includes major UK government-sponsored surveys, cross-national surveys, longitudinal studies, UK census data, international aggregate, business data, and qualitative data.
Inter University Consortium for Political and Social Research based at the University of Michigan
An international consortium of more than 750 academic institutions and research organizations, Inter University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and methods of analysis for the social science research community. ICPSR maintains a data archive of more than 250,000 files of research in the social and behavioural sciences. It hosts 21 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields.
The Australian Data Archive (ADA) is a Core Trust Seal certified repository, based in the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods (CSRM) at the Australian National University (ANU). ADA was established at the ANU in 1981 with a brief to provide a national service for the collection and preservation of digital data relating to social, political, and economic affairs and to make these data available for further analysis. The ADA provides the only comprehensive social science data collection in Australia.
Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives
Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) provides large-scale, integrated, and sustainable data services to the social sciences. It brings together social science data archives across Europe, with the aim of promoting the results of social science research and supporting national and international research and cooperation.

The Network of Asian Social Science Data Archives provides access to a variety of social scientific, economic, and demographic data for a range of Asian countries.
