Questions to Consider:
- Briefly explain the perspectives that fall under the rubric of feminism, each of which involves different assumptions about the source of gender inequality and women’s oppression. Include the basic assumptions of each including what they emphasize and/or focus in their research.
- Several waves of feminism existed parallel to cultural, social, political, and historical happenings in the world. Discuss the first and second waves of feminism, including why these are important placed in their time and social context.

- What is critical race theory? Describe the rise and fall of the social context, specifically the concern of inequality as it relates to the focus of critical race theories.
