This experiment uses a magnet and water to make it work as a compass. The equipment you will need for this experiment includes:
- Piece of paper with cardinal directions
- A magnet
- A bowl of water
- Small beaker
Method and observation:
- Place the bowl of water on top of the piece of paper with cardinal directions
- Place the small beaker with the magnet inside the bowl of water and watch it rotate and point to the north
