In this experiment you will see a small ball dropping in the sand from different heights. The equipment you will need for this experiment includes:

• Bowl with sand
• Ruler
• Small metal ball
• A stopwatch
   

Method:

• Drop the ball in the sand from 25cm height and record the time it takes to fall
• Once it drops, remove the ball and smooth down the sand
• Change height to 50cm and drop the ball in the sand and record the time it takes to fall
• Once it drops, remove the ball and smooth down the sand
• Change height to 75cm and drop the ball in the sand  and record the time it takes to fall
• Once it drops, remove the ball and smooth down the sand
• Change height to 100cm and drop the ball in the sand and record the time it takes to fall
• Once it drops, remove ball and smooth down the sand
