  1. How can one lead using SAW in a large and diverse organization (such as Taco Bell,etc.)?
  2. How do the authors define SAW? How do you define SAW?
  3. How would SAW impact organizational culture?
  4. Is SAW important to the leader’s ability to lead?
     

Article 2: Bisel, R. & Messersmith, A. (2012). Organizational and supervisory apology effectiveness: Apology giving in work settings. Business and Communication Quarterly, 75(4), 425-448.

Questions to consider:

  1. Describe the OOPS four-component apology model. Do you feel this could be an effective method of apologizing? Why or why not?
  2. Briefly describe the research methods used for this study.
  3. Discuss the case studies in Appendix A and C. How could the OOPs model be effective in these two cases?
  4. Based on this article, and the book, what do you think it takes to make a “good” apology and define “good.”
