Journals Publishing Student Research in Political Science

Journals publishing student research in political science:

The American Political Science Association (APSA), the professional body representing political science scholars, has compiled a great collection of journals that publish undergraduate and graduate (MA) student research. You can find that list at http://www.apsanet.org/content_36367.cfm . Always read the mission and scope statement (usually on the journal’s web page and/or inside the front cover) to ensure that your work is both appropriate and eligible for publication in that journal. Your work might be outside the journal’s scope, or the journal may restrict itself to publishing work from its host institution. When in doubt, politely email the editors (using your school account) and ask; if your concern is about the substantive scope of the journal, feel free to include your abstract to help the editor give an informed response.
