Note that the order of references is different in the download, as we have formatted and organized them as we should – alphabetically by the author’s name.

Perhaps the most difficult thing in the Harvard system is working out which bits should be italicized and which in quoatation marks. For books, the titles are italicized (or underlined); for journals, both printed and online, the title of the journal is italicized. Quotation marks go around chapters in books and titles of journal articles.
