We are grateful to Dr. Aliaksei Holik for his work on developing the R code and comments to run alongside the Stata do-files for this book. The data for the R code is also in Stata format for importing and conversion in R. These data files are saved under Stata version 12 which allows for the conversion in R. Newer versions of Stata data (i.e. 13 and 14) do not currently convert. The R code files come with comments and set out where Stata and R may differ in their results or where similar figures/tables are not possible. As with the Stata do-files, we welcome any feedback and will periodically review the files.
