The general opinion on India’s exit from the RCEP is that the decision benefits everyone. India no longer needs to make difficult concessions on agricultural trade. Other members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership group, or RCEP, won’t need to open their home markets to India’s thriving, and low-cost, services sector.
