Select any qualitative research report with which you are familiar. Now proceed as follows:

1. Apply to it the eight ‘reminders’ discussed in this chapter.
2. Consider how well it stands in relation to each.
3. In the light of your reading, assess how the research could be improved to satisfy any one of these reminders.
4. Assess whether, in the light of your analysis, any of these reminders needs to be modified or rejected.
