• provide an overview of professional issues in counseling (such as the role of professional organizations in professional development);
• describe and apply a model for ethical-legal decision making;
• explore special ethical-legal issues such as counselor’s values that may be in conflict with ethical codes; issues relating to AIDS; and diversity issues in ethical-legal decision making.
