    This 14:31 minute TED event illustrates creative problem solving.  The presenter was mistakenly put on the FBI list of possible terrorists.  He used this opportunity to develop a way to create an archive of his life, thereby devaluing the intelligence agency's currency of knowledge that no one has.
     
  • Edward Tenner: Unintended Consequences
    This 16:10 minute TED talk discusses and gives examples of the gap between inventions and our ability to predict the consequences.  Tenner looks at ways to close the gap so we can learn from disasters.  We should take a positive view of unintended consequences as a way to find creative solutions to additional problems.
     
  • John Bohannon: Dance vs. power point, a modest proposal
    This 11:08 TED talk addresses the overuse of power point presentations to support verbal presentations.  Bohannon stresses that power point presentations distract the audience.  He demonstrates how you can use creativity to make molecular biology in real terms.  He proposes explaining research through dance.
