Within the chapter you were asked to consider a task which you always dread doing and to identify in what sequence your emotions and thoughts occur. You were also asked to identify what your feelings of dread are based on and whether these feelings are realistic.

Take some time to consider again the task you identified as one you dread doing. In respect of this, how might you increase your self-efficacy?

You may wish to refer back to the chapter’s discussion of Bandura’s regarding factors which can strengthen self-efficacy.
