The programme considers where food comes from and how it’s grown, cooked and experienced. The initiative provides practical advice and support and rewards and celebrates success

Garden Organic:
The Garden Organic education programme helps teachers and school professionals to develop organic gardening projects that teach children where their food comes from, develops their scientific and environmental awareness and encourages them to eat more fruit and vegetables.

Royal Horticultural Society Campaign for School Gardening:
This campaign teaches children the life skills of gardening, growing food, healthy eating and how to care for the environment

School Food Plan:
This site has a range of resources for the development of a ‘great food culture’ in schools, including the plan itself, a checklist for headteachers, case studies and national news items relating to school food.
