  • The University of Reading (UK) has useful advice, guidance, hints and tips on conducting and writing up the literature review available online or as a printable guide, plus links to other resources on this topic:
     
  • The University of North Carolina’s Writing Centre has a clear and concise guide to the whole literature review process that is also available to download as a pdf.
     
  • This is a useful site with a concise explanation of the literature review process, plus links to other material on the literature review.
     
  • This site entitled “The Literature Review: A Research Journey” has been produced by Harvard’s graduate school of education.  Therefore it is not specifically concerned with hospitality or tourism.  However, it is an excellent resource relating to the literature review because it begins with an overview of the process and takes you through all the key stages in this process.  Of particular value in this respect are the series of E-Lectures, which are interactive and have printable elements, for each stage and in-site videos containing the views and reflections of faculty and students.
     
  • The University of Southern California library guide to the literature review is a helpful site, providing hints and tips as well as covering the process from start to finish.
