Chapter Summary
In this chapter, we introduced you to some of the ways working with groups is different from working with individuals. We briefly covered some of the major concepts associated with group work, such as group stages and terms such as proxemics. Several skills were included that are specific to working with groups. Finally, we covered some skills associated with working with a coleader and the unique ethical considerations involved in doing group therapy. Now we move on to the last chapter, on what’s next.
