1. What is NOT a sign of an effective supervision strategy?

a. Making an appointment with your supervisor

b. Planning before your session what you want to cover

c. Having a laundry list of issues you want your supervisor to fix

d. Receiving feedback with an open mind

Ans: C – Having a laundry list of issues you want your supervisor to fix. Preparing for your supervising session in advance is always recommended, but you don’t want to overwhelm your supervisor and expect them to be able to solve everything. They’re only human, too! They are there to support you and brainstorm solutions, so treat them as a dialogue not a magic wand or therapy session.
